Coach volunteers within our association are generally parents / leaders who invest their personal time for the development of our young players.  Each Coach is asked to complete a background check, coach pledge, and concussion presentation prior to working with our players.

Delran Township requires all Coaches (Head Coaches and Assistants) who volunteer to coach sports on Delran Township Fields to complete the background check process, which include the following steps:

• Coaches need to be approved by Sport Commissioner prior to process start, to ensure reimbursement.
• Need to schedule appointment online (Background Check Forms). Coaches will need to pre-pay at time of scheduling; reimbursement will be processed through Sport Commissioner.
• After coaches complete the Fingerprinting and receive their PCN NUMBER they will need to complete the Fingerprint form along with the Delran Volunteer Form and submit to Sgt. Harry Cassey of the Delran Police Department.
• Send receipt for pre-pay Fingerprint payment to your Sport Commissioner.

The DAA Girls Athletic Director is responsible for receiving and processing background check requests through our Commissioners.
